our week 4th June - Linmere

Welcome back to the last half term of this academic year. It’s been a busy start to these final few weeks.

In English we’ve started looking at a new book – Where the Forest meets the Sea - and have produced some lovely descriptive writing about the images in the book. We are now in the process of planning and creating our own persuasive posters to encourage people to help save the rainforests.

Maths work this week has been based around data handling, creating tables, charts, pictograms and data as well as completing work on interpreting the data collected.

The children had great fun and really showed off their creative skills when they designed and built their own rainforest homes. We really impressed with the standard of the “buildings” produced.
