Our week in Oakmere 15.11.20

Date: 15th Nov 2020 @ 8:37pm

What a great and busy week we have had in Oakmere.

Wednesday was Remembrance Day and we spent the time reflecting on what this meant. The children created some wonderful artwork and poetry – please see Mrs Riley’s blog for further details.

In maths we have continued to work on column addition and have really tried to focus on our presentation. Well done to everyone for making he improvements in this area.

We continued looking at the Minpins story and created some great wanted posters for The Gruncher. Later in the week we looked at possessive apostrophes.

Despite the weather we made it outside to take part in our football and cricket sessions which we are all thoroughly enjoying.

It has been so lovely to “see” and speak to so many of you over the last two weeks at our virtual parents evening events. As we said, although we can’t speak to you in the same way at the moment we are still here. If you have anything that you wish to discuss, please email or contact school and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as we can.

We hope you’ve all had a great, restful weekend and are ready and raring to go for the week ahead.
