Our week in Oakmere 18.12.20

What a wonderful last week of term we have had. It has been jam packed with Christmas activities, from arts and crafts to Christmas dinner. 

We continued with, and completed our Christmas signing. The children should now be able sign a whole host of Christmas words as well as sign the songs Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

Yesterday we joined, virtually, with the rest of school for a game of Christmas bingo and then finished the afternoon with some other party games including Christmas corners and charades.

Although we couldn’t end the term with our usual visit to the pantomime, we were treated to a special online performance we which we all thoroughly enjoyed.

It has been a different and challenging term but we are SO proud of how the children have adapted to the new routines.
