Parliament Week in Delamere

We can began the week thinking about British Values before focussing in on Democracy. We held our own vote to find out what our new role play area should be. The choices were Christmas Toy Shop or Santa’s Workshop. There was a clear winner when the votes were counted. Our new role play area will be Santa’s Workshop.

We looked  in detail at the building where Parliament meet before creating detailed drawing of what we could see. Some children then decided to make the Houses of Parliament using Lego and Knex.

To help us understand some of the things that happen and the vocabulary that is used we created an A to Z of Parliament.
