Happy New year to you all!

We have started off 2025 well by being the class with the best attendance this week. Can we do it again next week?

On Monday the children used their senses to tell us all about what they had being doing over the Christmas holiday.

We have used this week’s wintery weather as the perfect opportunity to continue our work about seasonal change in science. Did your child show you their snowflake? Were they able to share with you some facts about snow and snowflakes?

In our Class Worship this week we thought about saying thank you for and to our families. We listened to a story from the Bible about Ruth and how she was thankful for her family helping her and caring for her. We decided to make thank you cards to send to our families, we hope that you liked yours.

We completed our DT project about moving pictures. Everyone has succeeded in making a scene from the Three Billy Goats Gruff story that has at least one moving part. We made parts of our picture move by using levers and sliders.

We hope that you have a lovely weekend, stay warm!

Team Sandymere.
