What beautiful sunny start to the weekend. Let's hope it stays like this! 

We welcomed Miss Ollier back this week. She is back at University again for the next two weeks but then will be with us for a full 4 weeks. 😀 

English - We have started a new book called The Curious Case of the Missing Mammoth. 🦣

Maths - this week has been about measuring height and length. We did this with non-standard measures first and then learnt how to use a ruler to measure in centimetres. 

Science - our new topic is Plants. 🌱 We have spent lots of time outside observing and identifying the plants around our school.

Geography - we are learning about our local area and started by finding out the difference between rural and urban settlements. Can your child remember what type of settlement Winsford is?
