Hatchmere's Class Blog 1.4.26

What a gorgeous end to our Spring term.
On Monday, the children had fun following instructions to make an easter cake. We measured, poured and stirred...we might have licked our fingers too! We thoroughly enjoyed eating cakes, all together, on Tuesday as we watched some Peter Rabbit.
Last week, Hatchmere made bird feeders and some were hung up in our Outside Classroom. We have had lots of local birds eat from them and we have managed to catch some on camera. Can the children tell you what kind of birds they are?
Our resident artists carefully drew their easter bunnies to add to their Easter cards. Small pops of colour really made them stand out. I know our Hatchmerians are very proud of them.
We had such a fun Easter Egg hunt in school today, the children showed excellent sportsmanship by encouraging their classmates and celebrating when they found an egg.
I am sure you will agree that Hatchmere’s performance in the church today was amazing! The children love to perform and don’t they do it well!? We were all super impressed with them.
Enjoy your break and we will see you Monday 20th April at 8.35am for the start of the Summer term... ..eeekkk!
This week Hatchmere have let thier light shine by showing kindness and teamwork, caring for God’s creation and sharing their gifts and talents.
Enjoy the Easter Break!
