We had a lovely last week plus a couple of days together. 

We have played, we have splashed, we have wheelied, we have baked, we have created and we have sang and danced our hearts out. 

I am sure you would all agree that the children’s performance in Church today was the cherry on top of a wonderful Reception year cake! All of the children were simply amazing. The very best wishes go to our Y6 friends who leave us for new adventures. 

Hatchmere have sat down over our final few days to discuss their first days in Sandymere. Some children expressed a worry that they might feel nervous about going into the Sandymere classroom for the first time and one of the children gave some wonderful advice; “Why don’t you wait for a friend and go in together”. Everyone agreed that they would. What a gorgeous bond they all have, a true Hatchmere family. 

Lastly, myself and Miss Dyson would like to thank you all! You have been so generous with your thoughtful gifts and very kind words. It has been a pleasure to teach/play/giggle/sing/dance with your children this year, we will miss them all very much. Thank you all for your support and I look forward to seeing what our fabulous Hatchmerians achieve in Sandymere and throughout their school journey.
